Taos Ski Valley is hands down one of the most challenging and under visited lift serviced ski areas in the United States. It does not get “skied out” days after a storm cycle; terrain is not crowded; there are no lift lines. Much of its challenging terrain is accessed by “key-hole” entrances. This is to say pockets of challenging terrain are difficult to find and somewhat counterintuitive. From a guiding perspective I can help you uncover Taos Ski Valley’s under visited technical terrain.
